Festival of Colors

June 2, 2023 - June 4, 2023

Free

Once again the 2023 festival will be kicked off with a lighted kite fly on Friday @ dusk just north of the Lighthouse Suites Inn.

The Grays Harbor Festival of Colors is always the first full weekend in June and Ocean Shores is where kite fans want to be. Did you know you can fly a kite in Ocean Shores 365 days per year? The wind here is ideal for kite flyers and there will be all sizes and shapes of them in the sky for viewers and flyers to enjoy. Grays Harbor Festival of Colors is the premier kite festival on the west coast. This event is made for kite fliers of all skill levels with special events for kids. In the past we have had kite fliers coming from as far away as India, Canada, and many from the western United States. We are located in Grays Harbor on the Washington State central coast.

Everyone from novice to professional kite flyers will line the beaches of Ocean Shores to have fun, show off unique kites, and flying skills.

Popular locations are the State Route 115/Damon Road beach access road by the main entrance to Ocean Shores and the Chance A La Mer beach access road by the Shiloh Inn.

Do you all offer student discounts
If not what would be the cost for 10 students and 3 staff for the 4th of June
